WT encompasses three counties (Győr-Moson-Sopron, Vas, and Zala). Western Transdanubia is famous of its oil industry heritage, the first oil wells were operating here. Significant historical water mills, granaries, smitheries, stone mines and transport infrastructure can be found here as well.
